What does a consumer report include?

After a Driver forms an account on the Roadie App and is conditionally granted the right to access and use the Roadie App,  Roadie will obtain a consumer report and/or investigative consumer report from a third-party Credit Reporting Agency (“CRA”). During registration, Drivers are required to provide a valid driver’s license and Social Security Number, and written consent to Roadie to obtain a consumer report and/or investigative consumer report at that time, prior to allowing a Driver to perform Gigs, and/or at any time thereafter, as and when determined by Roadie, and without any additional consent, as may be allowed pursuant to applicable law.

In order to be eligible to perform certain Gigs and to help protect against theft and fraud, Drivers may be asked to submit additional personal information to verify their identity, including biometric information or identifiers such as a selfie, scan of their driver’s license and/or other government ID or photo, scan of their face, facial patterns, fingerprints, and voice or typing cadence (“biometric data”).

The consumer report and/or investigative consumer report are free of charge, and there is no credit check.

All Drivers who consent to Roadie obtaining their consumer report and/or investigative consumer report will receive a complimentary copy of their report from the consumer reporting agency conducting the report by email within 30 days of completion.
