Can the Driver leave my pet in the car?

Our Pet Drivers are fully committed to the care and safety of the pet they’re driving and know a pet left alone in a car is at risk of not getting enough air or suffering from heat exposure.

However, sometimes a quick stop is necessary. If a Pet Driver must leave your pet in the car to make a quick stop, the Driver must roll down the windows enough for adequate ventilation. If the stop will be longer than 10 minutes, the Pet Driver needs to take your pet.

If you do not want your pet left alone in a car for any amount of time, or if your pet has other special needs, please be sure to inform the Driver prior to the start of the trip.
