As a Pet Driver, you are responsible for the care and safety of the pet you’re driving. A pet left alone in a car is at risk of not getting enough air or suffering from heat exposure. The temperature may be 70 degrees, but it feels much hotter in a car.
If you must leave the pet in the car to make a quick stop, roll down the windows enough for adequate ventilation. If your stop will be longer than 10 minutes, you’ll need to take the pet with you.
