Will I be liable if an item is lost, damaged, or stolen while on a Gig?

You may be.  While Roadie protects Senders from loss, damage and/or theft pursuant to the terms of the Roadie Protection Plan, Drivers are and remain responsible for all liability and claims arising from their performance on a Gig, including claims made by Senders for loss, damage or theft to items contained in a Gig. Roadie retains all rights to, and may in its sole discretion, seek reimbursement from the Driver for any amounts Roadie incurs in connection with a loss, damage and/or theft claim made by a Sender.

Are we liable for let's say home depot and Walmart orders that are to be left on the customers front porch? Anyone walking by can see/take any delivery we make sitting on someone's front porch

Yes as I am finding out at this momentAndy! I delivered a opened box mind you from a curacao in Los angeles and had NO signiture requirements so as usual no contact delivery in a safe location and now im screwed because recipient says they didnt get the package. Curacao should have made a signiture required for delivery or rerurn un deliverable. But nope roadie takes the side of the merchant and recipient not the 5 star driver w over 500 gigs what a way to get your employees back huh!!!

Also yes. I had a Best Buy order i cancelled because the item was ready. Best Buy said i took the item for delivery. Because it was an expensive item and Best Buy doesn't verify what theyre sending out - my account is now locked and I'm being held responsible.

I have been locked out of my account, but I have no idea why or even which delivery. I got a stock email from Roadie saying my account is temporarily locked pending further investigation into delivery #blahblahblah, and that Roadie support would contact me someday. I have emailed them several times, the last time it took them two days just to reply with the exact same stock email telling me they will eventually get back to me. Have any of you guys managed to resolve, or even appeal these issues?

I got the same email about an item not being delivered. Despite the fact that i never picked up the item and cancelled the order - I was still held responsible. I finally after 2 weeks got a reply i was being removed. Then I lost my appeal and was removed and am currently working with local law enforcement because Roadie reported it as theft, even after they agreed that I cancelled the order. Best Buy messed up and I guess i'm just gonna have to roll through the motions to get it fixed. So good luck.
