Coronavirus safety guidance

The Roadie team is closely monitoring information about coronavirus (COVID-19) provided by public health authorities.  For now, we suggest you follow their recommendations including:

  • IF YOU FEEL SICK, STAY AT HOME - If you have a mild illness, respiratory symptoms, or have a fever (38 C or 100.4 F or above), stay home and keep away from others. If your symptoms get worse, call your doctor.
  • WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY - Wash your hands with liquid soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to disinfect your hands. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • COVER YOUR COUGH OR SNEEZE - Use a tissue to cover your cough or sneeze and throw the tissue in the trash, then wash your hands. If you don't have a tissue within reach, cough or sneeze into your elbow.
  • KEEP YOUR VEHICLE CLEAN - Disinfect your vehicle often using disinfectant wipes and sprays, focusing on surfaces that are touched frequently like car doors and seat belts.

We encourage all members of the Roadie community to visit the CDC's website for more information.

And always remember that you get to choose which Gigs you offer on, so if you feel uncomfortable with certain types of Gigs, just ignore them and wait to offer on Gigs that you're interested in.  And if you don't feel comfortable completing a Gig that you've been accepted for due to safety reasons, you can choose to cancel your offer with no penalty.
