Injury Protection Insurance FAQs
I’ve already provided my services as an independent contractor on the Roadie platform before the Injury Protection Insurance launch date. Does Injury Protection Insurance apply to me?
Yes. Beginning January 5, 2021, all independent contractors for Roadie in the state of California are automatically covered by Injury Protection Insurance whenever an independent contractor is on an active delivery on the Roadie platform.
This coverage does not retroactively provide coverage for injuries sustained in an accident while on an active delivery prior the aforementioned effective date.
